15-Part Pre-Webinar Nurture

From the second they register through 15 minutes before you go live. Each email pulls apart one limiting belief that keeps your audience stuck, and reframes it through your method.

1 You're in. The Social Arbitrage Live Workshop is locked for Sunday. T+0
Preview Save this link. You'll need it Sunday at 7PM EST.

Hey [Name],

You just grabbed your seat for The Social Arbitrage Live Workshop, live this Sunday at 7PM EST.

Here's what I'm walking through, live, no cuts:

  • The three signals I check before I ever look at a stock chart, the same ones that had me sizing into a trade before Wall Street noticed the story existed
  • Why a TikTok comment section can move faster than a research desk, and how to read one like a trader instead of a scroller
  • The capex line most people skim past on an earnings call, and what it actually tells you about where a company is headed
  • How I size a position once I'm convinced, and why "a little bit" of conviction is usually the wrong amount

Save this link. You'll need it Sunday.

[LIVE ROOM LINK]

Add it to your calendar so it doesn't get lost in your inbox: [CALENDAR LINK]

I'll send you a few emails between now and Sunday. Open them. I'm not padding your inbox, I'm giving you the reading before you sit down for the workshop.

See you Sunday,
Chris

2 The stock market has a blind spot, and Wall Street doesn't know it exists T+1
Preview The signal shows up in the comments section, not the 10-K.

[Name],

Here's something I've believed for years, and I still can't get most people to take seriously.

By the time a stock move shows up on a research desk, in an upgrade note, in a headline on your phone, the actual signal has usually been sitting in plain sight for weeks. It's in the comments under a product launch video. It's in a theme park line wrapping around the block. It's in how fast tickets sell out on a resale site. Wall Street builds its models off spreadsheets and quarterly filings. Regular people are living inside the data before it ever becomes a spreadsheet.

That gap, between when something is obviously happening in the real world and when Wall Street finally prices it in, is the whole game. I've spent close to two decades reading that gap before the reprice happens, not after.

It's not a trick and it's not inside information. It's primary sourcing, done earlier than the people whose job is to react to a headline.

This Sunday, that's what I'm walking through live. Not a tip. The actual reading.

[LIVE ROOM LINK]

Talk soon,
Chris

P.S. Tomorrow I want to clear something up, because I know exactly what some of you are thinking right now, and it's not a compliment to trading educators as a category. Keep an eye out.

3 We're not selling you anything (yes, really) T+2
Preview There's no course, no software, nothing waiting to be sold at the end.

[Name],

I want to address something before Sunday, because I'd rather you hear it from me than assume it and just quietly not show up.

You've probably gotten emails like this before, for other free trainings, and most of them end with a pitch. A course. A mentorship. A "special price if you act now."

That's not what this is. Go check our YouTube channel description if you want, it says it plainly, no courses, no software. A podcast reviewer put it better than I could: this was the only channel of its kind they'd found that wasn't trying to sell a subscription.

The workshop Sunday is the same thing we do on the show every week, just slowed down and taught directly instead of happening live on air while Dave, Jordan and I argue about a trade. I'm not building to an offer at the end. I'm teaching the method because teaching it is the point.

If you came in expecting a catch, I understand. Show up Sunday and see for yourself.

[LIVE ROOM LINK]

See you there,
Chris

P.S. If you want the receipts before Sunday, I'll send you one of our actual trade breakdowns this week. Real position, real numbers, nothing dressed up.

4 The Wizard of Oz reboot that turned into one of our biggest trades T+3 (morning)
Preview Nobody on a research desk was watching these numbers.

[Name],

Quick story, and it's a real one, numbers included.

Sphere Entertainment, ticker MSGS, was not on anyone's radar. Not in the analyst notes, not in the finance headlines, not in the usual group chats where people talk about what's about to move. It was sitting there, quiet, the kind of stock most people scroll straight past.

Then a Wizard of Oz reboot got announced for the Sphere venue in Las Vegas. Most people saw that as a scheduling item. I saw it as a signal, and I did what I always do when something like that shows up. I went and read the actual reaction. Not a summary of the reaction. The reaction itself.

I read TikTok comments under that content for the first 72 hours, as many as I could find. Not skimming. Reading. That's the part most people skip. The volume, the tone, the specific way people were reacting, none of that shows up in a headline. It only shows up if you go look yourself.

What I found wasn't a maybe. It was a wave, early, before Wall Street had started paying attention. A setup that size, that early, is exactly what I size real conviction into. Not a token position, a real one.

MSGS stock reportedly doubled after. I'm not telling you that to promise you'll catch the next one, I can't promise that and I wouldn't try to. I'm telling you because it's the cleanest example I have of the reading actually working, start to finish, in public, with real money behind it.

This Sunday, I'm breaking down exactly how I read that setup, step by step, the same way I'd walk Dave and Jordan through it live on the show.

[LIVE ROOM LINK]

Talk soon,
Chris

P.S. Tomorrow I'm sending you an actual breakdown video, the Amazon capex call, so you can watch me do this reading in real time before Sunday.

5 Watch this before Sunday: the Amazon call almost nobody read right T+3 (afternoon)
Preview Everyone read the headline. I read the transcript.

[Name],

When Amazon raised its capex guidance from $150 billion to $200 billion, most of the market read that as bad news. More spending, tighter margins, a scarier number on a slide.

I read it differently, and I said so on the show. A commitment that size isn't panic spending, it's offense. A company doesn't put $200 billion behind something unless leadership is convinced the next few years look enormous. I'd rather hear management say that in their own words on the call than trust a headline's summary of it.

I put together the full breakdown of how I read that call, line by line, and posted it on the channel. It's not a teaser, it's the real thing, free, right now.

[VIDEO LINK PLACEHOLDER: Amazon capex breakdown episode, @DumbMoneyLive]

There's more I didn't get to in that video, because there's only so much you can fit into one episode. Sunday, live, I've got the room and the time to go deeper, take your questions, and walk through how you'd do this same reading on a call of your own choosing.

[LIVE ROOM LINK]

Talk soon,
Chris

P.S. If the idea of listening to a full earnings call sounds like a lot of hours you don't have, tomorrow's email is for you.

6 You don't need forty hours a week for this T+4 (morning)
Preview Reading fast is a skill. It's not the same as reading everything.

[Name],

A lot of people hear "read the earnings call" or "read every comment for 72 hours" and picture a part-time job they don't have room for.

I get why. But that's not actually what I'm teaching you to do.

I'm not asking you to read everything, forever, about every company. I'm asking you to know how to spot the two or three moments a year where reading closely actually matters, and then know how to do it fast when one of those moments shows up. Most of the time the answer is nothing, skip it, move on. That's the skill. Knowing where to look, not looking at everything.

Dave and Jordan will tell you the same thing. We don't sit here all day reading TikTok comments for fun. We're watching for the handful of setups where it's actually worth the hour it takes.

Sunday, I'm showing you exactly how I filter for those moments, so you're not drowning in noise the other 350 days of the year.

[LIVE ROOM LINK]

Talk soon,
Chris

P.S. Tomorrow, I want to show you why "who is this guy anyway" is a fair question, and where you can go check for yourself.

7 The guy who called Brexit off Twitter data, before it happened T+4 (afternoon)
Preview I didn't ask you to trust me. I left the paperwork.

[Name], it's Dave.

I've sat across from Chris for years now, watching him do this on air, live, real money, and I know the fair question a lot of you are asking. Who is this guy, and why should I listen to him over anyone else in this space?

So here's the paperwork, not the pitch.

Chris's company, TickerTags, was first to correctly call the Brexit referendum result using social and Twitter data, before the vote happened, before any pollster got it right.

An independent accountant documented an 84 percent average annual return across his portfolio over seven years, 2006 through 2013. That's not a number Chris put on a slide himself. It's an outside report.

Benzinga reported in February that he turned a starting stake of roughly $20,000 to $84,000 into approximately $42 million over 15 years using this same method.

Jack Schwager, who's spent decades profiling the best traders alive, featured Chris in Unknown Market Wizards. Chris wrote the book on the method itself, Laughing at Wall Street, back in 2011.

And the free Discord community built around the show has grown past 66,000 people doing this reading together, in public, every day.

None of that guarantees you anything, and Chris would be the first person to tell you that himself. But it's a real, documented track record behind a method he's teaching, live and free, this Sunday.

[LIVE ROOM LINK]

See you there,
Dave

P.S. If you want to see the community before Sunday, it's free to join: https://discord.com/invite/sDHbSfssmt

8 Wall Street reads spreadsheets. We read people. T+5 (morning)
Preview The market is pricing cash flow like it's an accounting rule.

[Name],

Here's a belief I hold that most of Wall Street doesn't, and I think it's costing them.

The market leans hard on GAAP accounting to judge a company. Clean, standardized, comparable across companies. Also, in plenty of cases, a poor read on what's actually happening inside a business that's spending aggressively to build something bigger.

When a company invests heavily into long-term capacity, GAAP earnings can look ugly even while the actual cash generation underneath tells a completely different story. Analysts anchor to the ugly number. The market reacts to the ugly number. And the gap between what the accounting shows and what the business is actually doing sits there, unpriced, for anyone willing to look past the headline metric.

That's not a hot take for the sake of being contrarian. It's the same mechanism behind more than one of the biggest calls we've made on the show, including the Amazon capex breakdown I sent you earlier this week.

Sunday, live, I'm showing you how to spot that gap yourself, no finance degree required.

[LIVE ROOM LINK]

Talk soon,
Chris

P.S. Tomorrow's email is the last one before things get specific about what Sunday actually looks like. Watch for it.

9 What I'm showing Sunday has never been on video T+5 (afternoon)
Preview This only works taught live. Here's why.

[Name],

Sunday, 7PM EST, I'm going live with The Social Arbitrage Live Workshop, and I want to be specific about what's actually happening in that room.

Here's what I'm walking through:

  • The three-step reading I use before I ever look at a chart, and the order it happens in matters more than people think
  • Why I read a TikTok comment section the same way an analyst reads a filing, and what that actually looks like in practice
  • The Amazon capex signal, broken down slower and deeper than the video I sent you
  • How the Sphere trade actually got sized, dollar by dollar, and the exact moment conviction turned into a real position
  • Live questions. Whatever you're stuck on, bring it

I can't put most of this in a video. A video only goes one direction. Sunday is live, which means when something doesn't make sense, you ask, and I answer right there, the same way I would with Dave or Jordan pushing back on air.

[LIVE ROOM LINK]

See you Sunday,
Chris

P.S. Block the time off now. What I'm covering Sunday has never been in a video or a podcast episode. This is the first time.

10 How a guy with no finance background turned $20K into $42M T+6 (morning)
Preview I didn't come from Wall Street. That's kind of the point.

[Name],

I didn't come from Wall Street. I never had a finance degree or a hedge fund background.

What I had was a habit most investors didn't bother with, paying attention to what was actually happening around me, in stores, on social media, in conversations, and taking it seriously as information instead of noise.

I started small, a few thousand dollars, trading off things I noticed before they showed up in a headline. Benzinga reported earlier this year that a starting stake somewhere between $20,000 and $84,000 turned into roughly $42 million over 15 years. An independent accountant documented an 84 percent average annual return across seven of those years. I wrote the method down in a book, Laughing at Wall Street, back in 2011, because I wanted the reading itself to exist somewhere, not just live in my head.

None of that happened because I found a secret. It happened because I was willing to do the reading everyone else skipped, and size real conviction into it when the setup was actually there. That's the whole method. Not a tip, not a shortcut. A way of reading the world that's available to anyone willing to do the work.

That's why the workshop exists. Not to sell you something. To teach the reading directly, the way I wish someone had taught me back when I was starting with a few thousand dollars and a hunch.

Sunday, 7PM EST. I'll be there with Dave and Jordan, and I want you in the room.

[LIVE ROOM LINK]

Talk soon,
Chris

11 quick question before Sunday T+6 (afternoon)
Preview Hit reply. I read these myself.

Hey [Name],

I want Sunday to actually be useful to you, not just a general overview.

So, one question. What's the one thing you're stuck on when it comes to reading a stock before the market catches on? Could be a specific company you're watching. Could be something about the method itself that hasn't clicked yet.

Hit reply and tell me. I read these myself, and I'll do my best to work your question into Sunday.

[LIVE ROOM LINK]

See you Sunday at 7PM EST,
Chris

12 Tonight, 7PM EST, we go live T+7 (event day, morning)
